A mobile proxy assigns IP addresses through real mobile carrier networks (3G/4G/5G/LTE). Compared to traditional proxies, it operates in authentic mobile device network environments, offering higher authenticity, stability, and network trustworthiness.

Technically, both are considered residential proxies because they originate from end-user devices rather than ISPs or data centers. Residential proxies typically come from home broadband connections such as desktops and laptops, while mobile proxies come from mobile devices connected via 3G/4G/5G/LTE carrier networks. Due to carrier-based dynamic allocation, mobile proxies are more frequently rotated and generally provide stronger resistance to detection and blocking.
